Best iTunes Replacement for Linux

May 28, 2020

Vocal, a modern podcast client for Linux. It appears to built well for distros like Elementary and Ubuntu. Vocal is able to play podcasts from the iTunes with iTunes store intergration, which is great since Apple doesn’t officially support Linux. Vocal has features like streaming and downloading, internet archive intergration, custom skip intervals, position saving, full system intergration, smart library management, full audio and video support, and much more that is offered.

Vocal can be installed from the App Center for Elementary users or with Flatpak for all other distros. Like all Linux apps should be, Vocal is open source, and you can view the code on Github.
